Nano anti-virus is a not-so-well know anti-virus software program, but when we installed and ran it, we found the experience to be quite pleasant and simple and this included the ability to safelist or whitelist files or folders that Nano my falsely interpret and report as being bad (containing malware or virus).

To tell Nano antivirus that a file or program does NOT contain anything bad or malicious:

  1. Double the icon for Nano antivirus, in the system tray. This will make the program visible.
  2. On the left click the tab with the text ⛭ Settings.
  3. On the top, click the Trusted zone tab.
