This video is going to show you how to perform a hard or factory reset on your Amazon Fire TV stick whether you have the remote for it or not.

There's a few reasons why somebody may want to factory reset an Amazon Fire TV device. In my case, I set up Fire TV sticks by jailbreaking them or unlocking them and then installing unauthorized apps to them and distribute them to people.

To factory reset your Amazon Fire TV device with the remote:

  1. Turn on the TV that has the Amazon Fire stick plugged into the HDMI port.
  2. Make sure that the TV's source is the appropriate port.
  3. On the Amazon Fire TV remote control press the back button and the right side of the selection/navigation circle at the top of the remote.
