This page is going to show you how to create and use bookmarklets in the Mozilla Firefox web browser.

In order to create and use bookmarklets in Firefox browser you first have to make sure that the Firefox favorites bar is visible.

To make Mozilla Firefox favorites bar visible:

  1. Right click the toolbar at the top of the Firefox.
  2. When the pop up menu appears, take note if the Bookmarks Toolbar menu item is checked or not. If the menu item Bookmarks Toolbar is not checked, click it to check. This will make Firefox favorites menu visible.

If the bookmarklet comes as a link ...

  1. Move the mouse over the bookmarklet link.
  2. Press and hold the left mouse button down.
  3. While keeping the left mouse button pressed, drag the bookmarklet link to the Firefox toolbar.
